Event with mass appeal „The Long Night of Research 2009“

 

More interested members of the public came than ever before, and left filled with enthusiasm. This is a new record and the “Long Night of Research” can be acclaimed as the largest event for conveying an insight into research and innovation.

The research-minded public, young and old, were fascinated by extraordinary presentations and exhibits.
The curious night owls came so that they could experience the fascination of light. New findings for the relief of depression utilizing light attracted as much attention as the high-end illumination of a conference room using the latest LED technology.

Morsels of knowledge were also demonstrated, such as the analysis of rooms in scale models in the artificial sky facility, or the next generation of street lighting where the enthusiasts themselves could learn more about the different effects of light and materials.

We will continue to attempt to be one step ahead of light, so that you can get a taste of numerous innovations again at the “Long Night of Research 2010”
