The parish church of St. Michael has traditionally been a church for the citizens of the city of Brixen. In the course of necessary renovation work, it was also decided to renew the church’s lighting system. Existing pendant lights were converted to LEDs and hung a little higher in order to preserve the viewing axis toward the altar. Spotlights mounted on the columns’ capitals accentuate the church’s vault and its renovated ceiling frescoes.
