Lighting Perfection

Development

From an idea to a validated product

We support industry, technology, and planning partners throughout the entire development process—from the initial idea to the verified system.

Our strength lies in the combination of scientific depth, engineering-driven implementation, and robust validation.

Who we work with

Our development projects are created in close collaboration with partners from industry, architecture, and research. We support both early innovation phases and concrete product developments through to series production.

  • Lighting and lighting system manufacturers
  • Optics and component manufacturers
  • Architecture and facade planners
  • OEMs and industry partners
  • Research institutions and universities
  •

Our development approach

Successful lighting products do not happen by chance. They are the result of a structured, iterative development process that integrates physical, perceptual, and systemic aspects.

Step I: Understand and feasibility
Analysis, feasibility, and goal definition

We analyze requirements, constraints, and application scenarios, study technical feasibility, and translate the results into clear technical and perception-related targets.

Step II: Concept and detail design
Optical concept and detail development

Based on the target definition, we develop robust conceptual approaches for optics, system architecture, and lighting effects. We use optical, lighting, and thermal simulations to test and optimize performance early in the development process.

Step III: Prototypes and functional samples
Prototypes & functional samples

We create functional samples, prototypes, and small series for practical evaluation under realistic conditions.

Step IV: Validate and optimize
Measurement, proof of effectiveness, and optimization loops

In our laboratories and study environments, we validate system performance, accompany tool optimization loops, and conduct randomized series tests.
